EDUCATION & TRAINING
HCPA Faith Based Reentry & Justice Transformation: A 4-hour virtual or in person training introduces people of faith to a model for effective reentry ministry, the realities of mass incarceration and the basics of faith community organizing.
HCPA Advanced Justice Advocacy: An 8-hour virtual or in person training provides in depth training into HCPA’s model for faith community organizing including Organizing 101, Application in the Faith Community, Strategies and Tactics of Effective Campaigns, Movement and Base Building, etc.
RACIAL & ECONOMIC JUSTICE
A Faith Based Agenda for Justice Transformation in PA is a 17-point agenda which presents a path to transform all facets of the justice system, from arrest to reentry, to be more equitable, just, fair, trauma informed, and restorative.
RESTORATIVE CITIES
This grassroots movement, trademarked and managed by the Metropolitan Christian Council of Philadelphia, Inc., is an effort to bring restorative practices to every aspect of city life, from the porch front to city hall, to address harm, violence, injustice, and bring back a sense of community back to our neighborhoods.
PHILADELPHIA PRISON CONDITIONS
In partnerships with SA and ALC, advocating for improved conditions in Philadelphia prisons and Ending Solitary Confinement, including a Citizens Prison Oversight Commission.
