RESTORATIVE JUSTICE
Restorative justice is a response to wrongdoing that prioritizes repairing harm and recognizes that maintaining positive relationships with others is a core human need. Healing Communities PA's RCI Hub will be located at the People’s Baptist Church in SW Philly.
VOTING RIGHTS FOR JUSTICE INVOLVED
Working in partnership with Transformative Justice Coalition, Faith In Action, POWER, HRC, Free the Ballot, All Voting is Local and others, we are seeking to increase voter registration, education, and participation among returning citizens and eligible incarcerated citizens.
DIGNITY FOR INCARCERATED WOMEN
Advocates for ending the practice of shackling pregnant women, putting them in solitary pre and postpartum, providing trauma informed care for staff, guaranteeing bonding time post-delivery, addressing visiting disparities between incarcerated men and women.
DUAL VICTIMS FOR 2ND CHANCES & ABOLISH DEATH BY INCARCERATION IN PA
Organizing dual victims to participate in the community listening sessions other survivors of gun violence. Utilizing the PA Dual Victim’s Report and Dual Victim’s Cohort to advocate for second chances with legislators, State and County Office of the Victim’s Advocate.

PHILADELPHIA PRISON CONDITIONS
Addressing the harmful environmental conditions in Philadelphia's prisons and jails.
PHILADELPHIA YOUTH JUSTICE
Current focus is concern about the massive increase in criminal referrals to the DA’s Office from the school district for school-based disciplinary matters. Also, advocating against charging youth as adults and housing youth in adult prisons.
COALITION TO DEFEND DEMOCRACY
This grassroots coalition of Philadelphia Community Stakeholders works to Preserve Philadelphia Home Rule so Philadelphia voters, particularly those from directly impacted communities are not disenfranchised.
COALITION FOR PAROLE JUSTICE
CPJ seeks to eradicate the use of long-term parole and lifetime parole that extends the carceral state into Black and Brown communities.
PA JUSTICE
ALLIANCE
The PA Justice Alliance is a strategic alignment table created to coordinate the work of criminal legal reform organizations composed of formerly incarcerated people, grassroots activists, legal and policy advocates, and legislative organizers.
DUAL VICTIMS COHORT
The Dual Victims Cohort is a group of individuals impacted by multiple sides of the criminal legal system, such as being formerly incarcerated and the victim of a crime or having a loved one incarcerated and another loved one a crime survivor. These experiences exemplify how the carceral system intertwines through the families within our communities.
